Leaellynasaurus

One of the most famous inhabitants of the Cretaceous in southern Australian is the relatively small Leaellynasaurus, a two-legged plant-eating dinosaur (ornithopod) discovered at Dinosaur Cove on the Victorian coast. Leaellynasaurus was a small animal, about 1m in length, with a long tail. It may have been feathered as many other dinosaurs of the Cretaceous are now understood to have been. Many interpretations suggest that Leaellynasaurus could have lived in social groups or herds.
