Crinoid

Crinoids are animals that belong to the phylum Echinodermata - along with starfish and sea urchins. These fragile stalked animals lived out their lives attached to the sea floor and their fossils are often found in sedimentary rocks associated with deeper, calmer waters.  Modern relatives of crinoids are known as sea lilies and feather stars.
